Selectasine SF20 Solvent Free Binder

Create screen printing inks for light coloured fabrics by combining Selectasine SF20 binder with Selectasine pigments. These water-based acrylic emulsions are solvent-free, making them ideal for various environments, including school art rooms, where they can be used safely with young children, youth groups, therapy groups, and even at home.

Larger sizes of the screen printing binder offer an economical method for creating and mixing screen ink colours in studios, workshops, and classrooms. By using up to 6% Selectasine Eco Pigment to binder, a small selection of pigment colours (red, yellow, blue, black, and white), you can produce a wide range of colours on the spectrum. Additionally, the Fluorescent colours add a touch of fun and vibrancy for screen printers.

To ensure the wash fastness of the screen printing inks, heat setting is necessary. Once the prints are dry, simply iron on the reverse side at 165°C (330°F) for 4-5 minutes. By incorporating Selectasine Crosslinker into the ink, this time can be reduced to just 1 minute. The shelf life of the binder exceeds 12 months, when stored correctly, it is recommended to keep it in an airtight container in a cool place above 5°C and below 25°C. Cleaning the screens is easy with water and mild detergent.
