Selectasine Fabric Screen Printing Kit

This kit is perfect for beginners learning to screen print on fabric. Instead of pre-made inks, it includes three different colours of Selectasine ECO Pigments and a 1kg container of Selectasine SF20 Solvent-free binder. This way, you can easily mix your own ink colours.

Selectasine binders are well-known for their effectiveness in fabric screen printing. This system is straightforward, cost-effective, and versatile. When you combine Selectasine ECO pigments (at a ratio of 5-6g per 100g of binder), you’ll achieve a soft finish with excellent wash resistance when heat-set (simply iron the back of the print once it’s dry). These water-based screen inks are also suitable for paper and cardboard.

The kit includes:

• 50g of Selectasine ECO Pigments in Lemon Yellow, Pillar Box Red, and Ultramarine Blue
• 1kg of Selectasine SF20 Solvent-free Screen Printing Binder
• A 43T Mesh Screen Printing Frame (measuring 252 x 342mm with a print area of 205 x 295mm)
• A 225mm wide Squeegee
• A 100cm x 150cm piece of White Cotton Fabric
• 5 Pre-cut Stencils
• A 50mm x 50m roll of Masking Tape
• Illustrated step-by-step instructions to help you create your first screen prints.

We have included a higher ratio of pigment to binder in this screen printing kit to allow for experimentation. There are additional binders available from the website which are formulated to give different finishes and effects. These include puff, pearlescent, opaque (for dark coloured fabrics) and metallic (for fine metallic powders).
