Jacquard Softening Additive 240ml

Jacquard Softening Additive is designed to enhance the feel of Jacquard Professional Screen Inks on fabric, making them softer to the touch. Jacquard Professional Screen Inks are versatile, water-based inks that adhere exceptionally well to a variety of textiles, including synthetic and waterproof fabrics. When working with lightweight fabrics or apparel, achieving a softer finish may be preferred.

To do this, simply mix 5 – 7.5% of Jacquard Softening Additive by weight into the screen inks (equivalent to 2.5 – 4.5 teaspoons or 12-22 ml of additive per 8oz or 0.24 L of ink). Stir the mixture thoroughly and allow it to rest for 5 – 10 minutes before you begin printing.

Note that the Softening Additive may alter the viscosity of the ink, so it’s essential to perform a test before starting any large-scale production.
