500gm Fibrecrafts Indalca PA3R

Indalca PA3R is a thickener based on Guar Gum, similar to Locust Bean Gum. It’s handy for blending with dyes and applying through brushing or screen printing. Plus, it remains stable in both highly acidic and highly alkaline conditions. It’s particularly useful as a thickener for Disperse Dyes in heat transfer printing.

You can also combine Indalca PA3R with Formasol to create a mix that’s identical to Discharge Paste.

Here’s how to make 1 litre of Discharge Paste:

1. First, mix 150g of Formasol with 200ml of water until you have a smooth cream.
2. In a separate container, blend 60g of Indalca PA3R into 600ml of water using an electric mixer to create a stock paste.
3. Now, pour the prepared Formasol solution into the prepared Indalca PA3R solution and stir them together.
