Screens stretched with monofilament polyester mesh need to be degreased before applying emulsions, fillers, or films. This is because the smooth surface of the thread can trap tiny traces of grease, even from your hands, which can lead to adhesion issues and early stencil breakdown.

To do this, use a non-corrosive and safe-to-handle gel. Wet the screen printing mesh and gently scrub both sides of the mesh with the gel using a soft-bristled washing-up brush. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then rinse it thoroughly and allow the screen to dry.

It is recommended to use gloves when handling this product, due to some of the Selectasine products being sensitive to frost, we advise storage under suitable conditions and at temperatures above 5°C
