Safety Datasheets

A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS or SDS) is a document prepared by a chemical manufacturer which contains information and instructions on the chemical and physical characteristics of a substance.

It includes potential hazards and risks, safe handling requirements and the actions to be taken in the event of fire, spill or exposure.
These sheets are not meant for consumers. A MSDS reflects the hazards of working with the material in an occupational fashion.

For example, an MSDS for paint is not highly pertinent to someone who uses a can of paint once a year, but is extremely important to someone who uses that paint 40 hours a week.

The advice given on the Safety Data Sheet(s) by our suppliers is based on the present state of our knowledge and that of our supplier. We provide it in good faith, but cannot accept any liability for the advice given. The data is intended to describe the product from the point of view of safety requirements and should not therefore be construed as guaranteeing specific properties.
